I'd actually take NYC Q over the Q in Charlotte any day. The best Q down south are the hole in the walls not crap like Macs.

Dinosaur BBQ is the best I've ever had. They even opened one here in Baltimore so I don't have to wait for trips home.

Ribs check

Wings check

Brisket check

Pulled pork you can probably find better down in NC

Chicken check

Sides check

Sauce hands down check

Best burger as well. They opened one up down the street from my apt in Brooklyn. Their wings are great.

Mighty Quinn's would take a huge dump on any bbq place in Charlotte. Then there is Smoke Joint, Arrogant Swine, Fletcher's and numerous others. Just stay the F away from Hillcountry and Broher Jimmys.

I'm from Syracuse so I don't recognize the other places you mentioned in NYC. But it's fair to say NYC is one of the food Meccas. Hole in the wall places are fantastic and you can find them anywhere but the food scene in NYC must be off the chart...if you're rich. Any metro area of basically 20 million people will kill it on the food scene.

But Dinosaur is just flat out the best I've personally ever had. It's a requirement when visiting home and I can get the sauce in the stores here. That's how I know there's a god.

Bill Spoons off South Blvd or Bubba's BBQ off Sunset Blvd if you're up North for local places with a good history.  If you just want decent BBQ and a better atmosphere, Macs or Queen City Q aren't too bad.

BBQ in Charlotte?  Meh.  Does not exist.  And if anybody says Mac's Speed Shop...I'll shoot you.  Bunch of yankees who don't know BBQ.

    • They may be meaningless in the sense of wins and losses but this team isn't yet at a place where that is honestly all that matters  It's full of young players that need to make progress for us to compete consistently and this (multiple players in a year getting it) is evidence that's starting to happen.
    • This argument takes nuance, but I see both sides of it.  Bryce's good games, he's one of the best in the league, without a question. Lately, his really good games have been few and far between, though we are riding on a career best day last week. His bad games are not NFL quality. Hard to argue that as well.  He reminds me of Cam Newton in one way. They are both such statistical anomalies that evaluating them can be extremely difficult. QB roulette is absolutely no path to success. Furthermore, we have literally watched our franchise recently let 3 QBs go that left and proved they could still do it at a high level. I definitely give Bryce this season, and probably next season.  If Bryce can be the good version of Bryce more consistently it's crazy to let him walk. With the inconsistencies too, I think we could probably get a team friendly deal. If he can't bring next year's roster to the playoffs, he's not the guy, period.  I do think Bryce is always going to be a guy that requires a quality offensive line due to his physical limitations. I think we can do it, but it's a factor to consider.  You have to account for that money, and Damien Lewis, Robert Hunt and Taylor Moton are all between 28-31. If he's our guy for the next 10 years, it does appear he's going to have a top quality #1 receiver to get the ball to.
