Best Brewery in Charlotte?

Well, we're talking wings and we're talking BBQ, this thread is almost required to make my weekend complete.

Red Hill in Concord has the best beer in the area, but in Charlotte I like Sugarcreek (even if their service is plain awful).

Never been to Red Hill I'll have to check that out. I went to Cabarrus brewing a few times it's pretty cool. 

I still haven't been to many in Charlotte but I like Noda's. I used to think Heist was terrible but I thought they really stepped up their game the past year or so. I like the beer flights and burger sliders.

If you go to Cabarrus and you like ales and sours you really need to walk across the parking lot to High Branch.  They have much better beer there, IMHO.

It's definitely on my to do list. I just dig Cabarrus' atmosphere.

As far as beer goes I pretty much stick to IPAs and Belgian beers. Anything in the realm of Chimay, Hoegarden, Celis, Bells, Hoptical Illusion or Hop Cakes I'll drink it. Can't stand sour beers though.

Red Hill has a sour that they lace with a shot of raspberry syrup that will change your mind on that...

Catawba is actually opening a location in Plaza Midwood soon.

Breweries are the new "dot com craze". Every city has a slew now, manned by dudes who think they know how to brew beer. Some, thankfully, do. Breweries were way more fun when there were just a handful. Now they're on every corner. Kind of sad.
