@SJTG4

I'm really not in the mood to talk poo or argue this morning, so I'll just say this:

as a Panther fan, you should sit back and root for whatever player is wearing the uniform - regardless of their appearance or whatever it may be giving you doubts.

I rooted Cam on, I rooted Jimmy Clausen on, I rooted for Everette Brown. save the bullshit you're saying for when a player actually does not live up to expectations. until then, cheer them on and hope they are successful.

How about Armanti Edwards? This same sentiment you just shared was no where to be found 7 years ago. Bunch of fake fugs around here.

"Wide receiver Curtis Samuel's route-running was as advertised. The second-round pick needs some refining, but he looked much smoother than a guy who's played out wide for a little over two years."

"But route trees and raw and other words I hear on nfl network"  Dorito finger scouts eat a dick

I rooted on Armanti. I thought he wasn't worth the trade up but had the confidence we could turn him into a unique offensive weapon. I was wrong and he is not longer on the team, which is why I can say with confidence now that he did not belong in the NFL.

He's actually become a number one go to guy on a Canadian team. Should be able to find some highlights on youtube but he certainly looks fast. The issue here is that the NFL isn't a place to develop...you either have it...or you don't.

At any rate, having faith in Davidson isn't a good decision and Shula (Chud) run a traditional offense that he didn't necessarily fit. I don't believe he was as overmatched as Everrett Brown.

The game is constantly evolving.  The "standard" measurables for particular positions don't even really apply anymore.  Teams are figuring out how to use these hybrid players.  Especially on defense (look at Shaq on our team).  Same applies for CMC on the offensive side of the ball, we just have to utilize him the proper way.

The Patriots have been doing it for years.

all that is very different from the physical beating a RB not a WR that's why RBs careers are so short look at Jamal Charles. When its all said and done he will have a hard time getting back up when it comes down to week 12 & s/o to you for bringing up Woodhead and then saying he's not woodhead lmao

Chuck?  Is that you?

    • I think the ‘issue’ here is that we had two guys that clashed for several reasons. In some ways they were different, but in other ways they had a lot in common, and sadly they couldn’t see the forest for the trees. Sometimes when you have two people like that together they are either going to love or hate each other, and if it’s the latter, you need someone to mediate and hope the two individuals are capable of putting their differences aside for the common good. In this instance, they couldn’t find a way to move forwards together because I don’t think either guy wanted to play second fiddle to the other. This video basically said neither guy had the tools to bridge that gap and mend that fence, and perhaps also were unwilling to give an inch at that stage in their lives and careers. So a divorce, while unfortunate, was always likely. Do we win the Super Bowl with Smitty and Cam? Well, it’s one of life’s big what ifs for us Panthers fans.
    • Dude, I think I might be having Jarvy withdrawals... I ripped the sleeves off of all of my t-shirts in my sleep last night. Every bite of my Alpha-Bita cereal spelled Seth, this morning. And, I took 7 naps before lunch. I'm losing it guys! Jarvy's Jaunty Band of Jaggoffs are getting more play than he is... smh Team Canada doesn't treasure Jarvis the way he deserves. He should take his band down to Liechtenstein, get a bag of passports, and start his own Olympic team! The raw animal magnetism of Jarvilicious will bring in a handful of NHLers on its own. And, since the IOC believes in collective punishment, he could have his pick of the rookies. Then, just fill out the rest of the roster with the maple blooded great white northerners who couldn't make the top squad. Can't trust this assembled awesomery to just any old Liechtensteinien with a clipboard and a whistle. Gotta bring in a legend worthy of this gold medal gambit. A hockey HOFer with the balls to buck the system and the aura to match our maverick. Huere geil, Vaduz!!! 2030 Gold Medal guaranteed!
    • Tennessee isn't trading a QB on a 2nd round contract that has starting experience.  That's bad business.
