The last conversation they had would lead me to believe that there is no way Jaimie could convince him to take his armies north to fight "the dead" and Edmund not think it's a trap. How could Jaimie convince him that he's left Cersei when he explained to him that she's the only thing that matters in this world to him? I like the idea, just not sure he could pull that off.

Well, if a few others are with him, say Brienne, or even a Raven from Winterfell, maybe that might convince him.  Or Jaime could just say do as you please, but you are free now and can take over as lord of the Riverlands as every Frey that matters is dead except for your son.  But I agree its unlikely.

I don't see the Stark sigil there... I see two butt cheeks dropping turdballs... I really thought that is what it was supposed to be and then y'all gotta say something about Bran and the Night King and a direwolf sigil and now I'm confused as hell.

Still think Bran is the NK, or somebody with Stark blood is.  Need another Bran, the First Men, and the Children of the Forest flashback.

Also think Jon dies in the end, probably sacrificing himself, to leave Dany (and future baby) in charge. Bittersweet end GRRM talked about.   Maybe even some weird "truce" where Jon  becomes a WW or the NK, and the show ends with a shot of the "new" him.  Seems I remember reading that a Stark once married a WW or something thousands of years ago?  Lived at Castle Black maybe? Something weird like that, but also possibly weird Youtube theory.

According to legend, Night's King lived during the Age of Heroes, not long after the Wall was complete. He was a fearless warrior named the thirteenth Lord Commander of the Night's Watch. Later, he fell in love with a woman "with skin as white as the moon and eyes like blue stars". He chased her and loved her though "her skin was cold as ice", and when he gave his seed to her he gave his soul as well. Night's King brought her back to the Nightfort and after the unholy union, he declared himself king and her his queen, and ruled the Nightfort as his own castle for thirteen years.[1]

A Storm of Swords

While on his way north, Bran Stark recalls stories told to the Stark children of Night's King and the Nightfort by Old Nan, servant in Winterfell. She said some people believe Night's King was a Bolton, a Magnar of Skagos, an Umber, a Flint, a Norrey, or a Woodfoot. However, she identifies Night's King as a Stark of Winterfell and brother to the King of Winter and suggests his name was Brandon.[1]

Just saw this on the comment section on Gizmodo and it fits perfectly with my feelings about the season...

Quote

Whereas every other season appears to have been based on books, with connective tissue that makes sense of the big scenes, this last batch of episodes felt more like it was based on notes.

‘This happens, then that happens, then the other thing.’

Little context, little character. Just events.
