Nice to hear about Pep. Maybe he has become the leader JR wanted him to be a few years ago.  Guess he needed some time.

I just wish we had one more bonafide guy. I think Peppers will provide some leadership and maybe a few monster games. But CJ is questionable in my opinion. We have yet to see he is back to form. If he is that's great. Addison can bring a pass rush but we have no idea what Hall brings to the table. 

I low key wish we still had Ealy. But it's the NFL and sacrifices must be made.

Regarding pep being a leader. i think when JR threw the gauntlet down trying to get him to pick up where mike minter left off was a bit intimidating probably because he felt that maybe he needed to be the same type of leader. Peppers found an understated way to lead that uses setting an example and the tone for what a professional athlete does to prepare for the season. you are never good enough or experienced enough to not take an effort to learn and put in the work both in the classroom and on the field.

He also said Hardy and Johnson had 40 of the teams 60 total sacks in 2013. Proofreading: not even once.

Absolutely!  I've felt since the draft that Hall would benefit the most by having a redshirt year in which he can learn from all the experience that will be surrounding him while building strength (IMO his biggest weakness...no pun intended).  Maybe let him get work on special teams along with a handful of snaps at DE when we're running out the clock.

      Watching games this year again and Bryce missed a wide open XL many times and some of them were in the endzone. I get the kid has mental lapses and hasn't broke out yet, but this is year three on a rookie deal! Cutting bait now is too early. If he hasn't gained anymore trust from his QB, posted any highlights, little production, or outright gets beat out then we can talk movement.

      Samesies   I truly may just cash completely out of Panther football if we give him a long term deal that isnt necessary.  I have watched NFL for 50 years now and I can without a shadow of a doubt say you cannot win consistently with BY.  Way too many limitations to deal with.   I may come back around in 3 years when the inevitable happens and all parties are either cut and/or fired.  Giving him a deal before this season so you hopefully can get him cheaper in case he "blows up" or if you truly believe that he will has to be the most moronic decision a gm can make when the evidence is laid before you with different players

      This is the one! I was at that game and all KB had to do was lay down on the corner after the pick or make an obvious tag while he was down. He had already ran a lazy route. Then if Cam would've just walked to the sideline like most elite QBs instead of trying to make the tackle.  A lot of people bring up the TJ Watt hit, but he just reaggravated a bunch of scar tissue from that play. And every Cam hater said that the running did him in and it was a dive tackle attempt on an interception that initially began the shoulder deterioration. He still went to New England later and would've got them in the playoffs had their A team not sat out the covid year. We quit on him too early. But hey how good was Teddy? Am I right?
