I hope they get both OG locked up. I'm a firm believer that the games are won and lost at the line of scrimmage. If you want Cam to succeed and last, then the OL is absolutely critical.

Ryan Kalil's not getting any younger either, and having two top-quality guards will make it easier to replace him if/when he stops playing or becomes prohibitively expensive himself.

Given Molton's size and extreme intelligence I'm intrigued by the idea of him playing C.

we will have star, Turner, and Norwell at the negotiating table (which may be cheaper than the dinner table---yuk yuk) If you look past the immediate situation, there is no cap room..  The three will cost us around $35m.

Turner and Norwell are top priority.  As it's been echoed. no OL? Good luck winning games.  Cam has to be protected, and with the uncertainty at OT...we need to keep the middle of the line intact. 11-12 for Trai, 7-8 for Norwell maybe? 

Star will be interesting.  Doesn't seem like a dude who will command or chase top dollar, and no clue what his market value will even be.  Probably 8-10 million in FA...I think he'll stay for 7-8. 

 

Regardless, we're going to need some draft picks to step up and replace some guys...KB, Trai, Norwell, Star, etc...somebody with name recognition won't be here much longer.

I don't know much about Larsen, I'm just highly impressed with Molton's intelligence (which may or may not translate to the field) and I know that is key with the responsibilities of the Center. Not doubting Larsen, just love Molton.
