Things might have been different if a real leader - like Kaepernick, who quietly earns the respect of his teammates and stands up for what's right - was playing under center instead of our current primadonna. We lost the better man.

Steve Smith would have busted Kapernick in the head.  89 had no patience for guys that couldn't throw downfield.  Kapernick is like a Jimmy Clausen in terms of passing ability.  Much better arm strength but their ability and looks downfield are no different IMO.

We released him and that type of attitude is what made him the player we loved.  If JR called him, I'd be very surprised if Steve told him no.  I hope he retires a Panther soon.

I understand the sentiment. I just don't expect it, regardless of the sentiment.

I don't own many jerseys. I've got 2. #89 and #30.

This may be a little selfish considering #89 turned down TD's idea of him coming to form Voltron. The Panther Dream Team.

We may all be barking up the wrong tree. It has to come from JR. I don't know him but I think that Dream Team would make him the proudest owner in football. All his boys together.

2017 Is perhaps the only window for that opportunity. His friends would love it. Family would love it. I would love it! I want JR to see it. I think HE deserves it. One more year #89! Get that ring! .....and more stats ;-)

jmho as a Panther fan
