at what page does a thread lose all of its potential to be constructive?

i ask this bc i don't even bother to make a first effort post in a thread if it's been going for like 25 pages

i wanna say the shark gets jumped around page 15. that's usually about the time heel31ok jumps in and starts spamming ellipses and cryptic rhetoric.

It's like discussions on facebook....it's over before it starts because no one comes with an open mind or any possibility that their opinion might be wrong. All our society knows to do us shout at each other and accuse people of other opinions of just being stupid all behind the safety of their keyboards.

i don't even bother on fb. the ppl on there are so ignorant they wouldn't know a good point if the top of their head came to one. i've got hundreds of "friends" and half of them are unfollowed.

Same here. I've got friends I've unfollowed because it seems all they care about is arguing some position ad nauseum (some I even agree with) or trying to sell me something.

Any thread google Jim bob cooter starts. It will only be about one of three things: yay communism, I hate white people, I hate police.

loll completely agree. @GOOGLE JIM BOB COOTER is as blind to reality as stevie wonder is to stop signs. if he saw a sheep falling off a cliff to its death, he'd follow without hesitation. liberal propaganda got him feeling some type of way ... poo is fugin sad

    • People apparently forgot that offseason. Stafford and wife met with McVay in Mexico the offseason he moved. McVay convinced him to leave. Stafford went to the Lions and had a very emotional meeting in which he said he wanted to leave. They obliged based on his time there and the compensation offered(which included Goff). It was a very amicable split. People in Detroit still revere him to this day. He has been open about his affinity for them, as well.
    • going from High school to the pros would be incredibly easy
    • Smitty was a 3rd rounder.  I’m not really saying draft one high at all, 3rd being higher than I have in mind for this year. I am completely with the people that say ‘enough’ high picks on “weapons for Bryce”. Enough of that. Don’t want a weapon drafted early, Yet Again.  For that matter I wish we weren’t forced to address LOT because I want linebackers and big guys. And OL depth in the mid to late rounds. Maybe some late insurance at RB. A QB if the right one is begging for us to snap him up.    But looking at the WR room and believing Moore is sort of redundant or maybe even not a great fit,  and then just recalling the numerous calls for a burner, I was only really saying what I think would be the best type of addition.
