Carolina Panthers camp matchups...

Now that this insane week is almost over, I am starting to gear up for training camp. As such, I need to know what to focus more on while I am there. Please give me any input you have on what players in particular you are wanting an extra set of eyes on.

The OTs: see how Kalil does against some of our DEs and how he looks beside Norwell since that was brought up a ton why he could succeed here due to the rest of the OL vs Minnesota's.

The Williams vs Moton matchup is the most intriguing one I want to know about this camp

WRs vs CBs: both relatively young groups. How KB, Funch, and Samuel look against Bradberry, Worley, and Corn.

KB and Funch specifically. One if not both need to step it up this year. These are Gettleman guys not Hurney' s, so another year like the last 2 and I wouldn't call them safe (even with us giving the 5th year option to KB) Funch came with high praise even compared to TO on here during his rookie camp and has failed to produce since. KB post injury hasn't looked the same and back overweight which was his issue early in college. One of the big rumors that was swirling around the gettleman fire was Big cat wasn't to fond of the 5th year options given to KB and not happy when Gettleman was more focused on signing him long term over TD.

Curious to see who is getting the most reps back catching kicks and punts. McCaffrey, Samuel, and Corn all have experience returning kicks in college. Russell Shepard has been a special teams ace his career and can return kicks.

How Cam looks throwing those short out passes that you should see a lot more with McCaffrey

    • Winning games and be a +500 team are good. But the goal is to win Super Bowl.  Chiefs had Alex Smith, went to playoff twice and still replaced him.   BY as of now: - To many fumbles - Completion in the intermediate range is just far below acceptable - Not enough of a deep throw threat....   The stats you try use is deceiving.  Catchable......  That is an opinion. Show me the completion %. And also, how does BY compare to other QBs using the stats you cited. Oh... ranked at 27

    • The Entitlement Paradox: When Winning Isn't Enough for Panther fans.    Just the other season(s) we were praying for wins by any means. Brought in every run of the mill QB you could think of.  We know all sides of the ball was bad like egregious bad. However some how we have won 5 games and TOXIC ENTITLEMENT has emerged.    We are a team that has to take wins by anymeans nothing has changed. Keep pounding means it aint gonna be perfect!!    Some panther fans have now developed a toxic entitlement where even victories feel insufficient, demanding flawless performance, or perfection, which stems from historical success in which we dont have any lol. This mindset poisons communities by fostering relentless criticism, harassment, and ingratitude that undermine team morale and alienate casual supporters. For the new Carolina Panthers, this could manifest as fans booing Bryce Young after gritty wins for low passing yards despite low turnovers, pressuring tepper into premature changes mid-rebuild, or driving away talent through online abuse!! eroding the positive momentum from their recent 4-game streak has brought us. Trust and believe the players do see your toxicity.    Anyways here are some positive stats.      Most Accurate QB on... 20+ Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (79.2%) 2. Sam Darnold (79.2%) 3. Bryce Young (75.0%) 10-19 Yard Throws 1. Jaxson Dart (88.0%) 2. Jayden Daniels (82.9%) 3. Drake Maye (80.7%) 0-9 Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (92.9%) 2. Spencer Rattler (92.6%) 3. Bryce Young (91.7%) @FantasyPtsData
