Running this poll on Twitter to gauge what fans are thinking. 

Currently nearly 1000 votes with 66% saying he will play in San Fran. 34% don't believe he will.

If Cam can come throw next week against Jacksonville, I suspect that 34% would drop to single digits.

My theory is that now that practices are closed his participation increases significantly. I have no basis for this.

You seem to really be pushing the Cam isn't going to play button a lot.   Guess you would know more than others.  

IMO he is going to play nearly a little under a month from now.

My prediction, he will debut in week 3.

well what would drastically change from week 2 to week 3 to make him suddenly healthy to play? oh no!! sit him all year.

Never said he wasn't. Not once. 

Have always said it is a possibility, just like I did in 2014. Oddly enough, it was met with the same amount of disbelief here.

I don't have a "source" nor am I privileged to "inside information", but I'd be surprised if Cam doesn't play week 1

We're actually just planning on using CMC in the wildcat the entire game. Writings been on the wall for weeks.

My prediction.  He will start, but he won't play the whole game.

I'm more concerned about Cam playing when he's 100% healthy and less concerned about Cam playing in meaningless games. Let the doctors monitor his progress to keep him on schedule to hopefully start and play, without hindrance, the entire year...
