I personally think RR keeps an experienced LB over a rook FB (especially if he keeps Young). Especially where there is plenty of injury history at the LB position.

He's been taking those 1st team reps when the Panthers were using a FB. Last two games at least and throughout most of camp.

I believe that our game plan is to run the ball more. It is easier to be successful at that with a good blocking FB...

Armah is still pretty raw. I can't see Rivera trusting him all that much at fullback. I'd be happy if I am wrong.

Mayo just didn't not look ready to take AJ's place vs the titans and they haven't run Shaq at MLB at all. So I don't see Jacobs going anywhere before we even get to special teams.

Mayo had 10 tackles in 46 snaps against the Titans. He was a beast in Luke's place. Don't remember the stats but I think he was fine against the Jags too. I don't think Jacobs gets much/any LB PT.

Everything I've seen and heard if Mayo is that he's been really good.

I would almost throw caution to the wind and keep Armah over Young.  He ain't ready but I just like his potential that much.

I'd hate to lose Armah if we try to stash him on the PS....but he is a rookie FB, so they chances he'd get snatched up are low.  But if it did happen I'd be sad.
