In other team news. The Patriots just acquired Philip Dorsett in exchange for Jacoby Brissett.

Dorsett and Cooks with Brady throwing them the ball. Good Lord.

Difference between Panthers and Pats. Pats ALWAYS trying to get better through low risk trades/picks and never let their foot off the gas. Maybe that's why they have 5 rings.

With Gano and Jacobs we have 54 players. Not 53.

Not true.  We have 53.  Here's the roster.

We cut 38 players INCLUDING Obada who we may bring back as special 11th PS guy.  But we ARE at 53 right now.

25 Offense / 24 Defense / 4 Specialists.

Note - yellow shading was to denote players who've missed a lot of reps due to injuries.  I should have included Cam in yellow too...!

Must have a safety in mind already

I really hope so.  With McCray on IR, I would have risked someone like Armah on waivers and kept Southward until we know for sure we have another good one as depth, especially since we are also glaringly think at CB with Cole Luke possibly injured (tweaked ankle vs. Pittsburgh near end of game, I believe), and Corn Elder missing all of camp & preseason.

Basically Colin Jones is our entire DB depth right now.

Exceedingly scary.

I know we'll bring some guys in, but seriously?!?!?

Yeah I figured that out over an hour ago. Even made a thread about it. McCray was the joker.

Yes, I did see that you figured it out.  I reacted after seeing a bunch of comments that kept stating we were at 54.  It took me awhile to figure out that McCray was on IR as well.  That never made it as a separate roster move on Twitter anywhere and I had to really hunt to figure out who the last guy cut / sent to IR was...!

    • it's pretty simple IMO.  The Tepper Panthers are the most unsuccessful professional sports in all of sports.  The problem isn't the posters here have changed.  The product dictates the atmosphere more than anything.  In reality, the daily convos about THE worst team in all of pro sports on a fanatics site....is going to feature harsh and critical convo.  Only one entity can actually change that.  It's the Carolina Panthers football team.
    • Yes message boards will always include that sort of stuff… However, this place has been a cess pool since the team took Bryce Young over CJ Stroud. It becomes a problem when it is accepted and promoted, which it has been here (even by at least one mod). Many posters sole purpose on this board is to try to dunk on others for having different opinions. We just had one write a novella on how talking about Bryce Young’s game winning drives “needs to stop”…after a win. They don’t want real conversation. It “needs to stop”. There are many posters here who literally only show up after losses to dead thread and try to dunk on others about the QB (MRenshaw is an easy example). I really don’t see much of that happening the other way around. There’s too many people that would rather the team be bad so they can feel justified for constant doom and gloom and negative opinions. It’s been pointed out by many over the past couple years. This just isn’t a place to have football discussions anymore because of the constant hyperbole. If you don’t subscribe to “Bryce Young is the worst QB ever who can’t throw the ball further than 5 yards and is the reason why we lose any game we lose and doesn’t help in any game we win”, then you are labeled a Bryce Young Stan.
    • if you believe he is watching every NFL game.....every week.....go right ahead.  I get it, he said something you like.  But that's like believing the talking heads on the ESPN shows are watching all the games.  You think Stephen A is watching the Panthers every Sunday too?  If Stephen A needs to go on First Take he certainly can pretend like he has watched every snap any player on the roster has taken lol.   No one is that isn't a Panther fan has been watching the 9-25 career go down every Sunday.  Or even a lot of Sunday's.  You know who knows more about Bryce Young than Long? The collective huddle.  What they are reviewing is stat sheets, highlights and in summaries.  It's an old formula lol.
