i sincerely doubt this defense will match up with 2003.

 Well seeing as multiple variables have changed over that amount of time there's really no truly accurate way to predict this would happen

No good barometers until really when we play the Pats. Judging this D by using the 9ers and Bills would be a huge mistake

We have played two lower tier offenses. We will know in the next couple weeks what we really have.

Drew Brees and Tom Brady are totally different , HoF caliber QBs and the defense isn't going to be as sucvessful against the Saints and Patriots . It's a huge problem that this team can find themselves offense wise and Olsen going down . McCaffey and Stewart both have pretty low YPC , cams holding the ball and missing throws , and our WRs still aren't scaring anyone . Playcalls are ass and oline regressed horribly in game 2.

6 points in two weeks is rare, despite the quality of opponents. So far they look incredible but the true tests are still upcoming.

I know it's only been two games but just by my eye test it looks to be the most complete defense we've ever fielded.. If Bradberry and Worthy can continue to step it up. With Wilkes play calling this could be the number 1 defense in the league..
