SI's Andy Benoit breaks down Panthers/Saints tape

On the Barnwell podcast today, they can't believe Shula is running the same offense with personnel that clearly isn't fit for this offense. They also credit Kalil being out being the main factor because he tells Cam all the protections.

Why are we not adapting to the personnel we have. We have slow, poor accelerating wide receivers in an offense that requires an AJ Green and a Brandin Cooks.

We are running the same offense from our 15-1 season.

WHEN IS RON AND COMPANY GOING TO REALIZE THIS!

FWIW, I pointed it out yesterday during the game when everyone was trying to blame Cam for that first pick, that it was Funchess' fault.  For some reason, he still has a fan club around here.  He is what he is.  It was clear he rounded out the route and allowed the corner to beat him to the ball as a result.  He would be a great #4 guy if he learns how to tackle on ST, otherwise, we need to move on from him.

Funchess fault?  Seriously?  Cam should have never attempted that throw because it was read from the snap.  He was supposed to hand it off to CMC.  Funchess was not expecting that pass.  That is on Cam.

    • I mean this is legit AF statement....you don't spend that draft capital on a project just like you don't trade up for an injured RB either, which was done in the same draft.  That draft IMO was a necessary evil for DM to learn from his mistakes (I think he did but some may not). Also I have to mention I'm a big Coker fan and think getting him as an UDFA was obv a steal.  Coker is the better WR2 at this point as Legette and its not even debatable unfortunately.  Give him year 3 but don't expect much from him.  Continue in the offseason with adding as much talent and competition on the roster as possible including WR.  Or just trade his ass for peanuts and continue to build roster by any means.......
    • Losing him was a huge loss. Look at how the Bears went from a 5 win team to now a 11 win team. The Lions offensive line is bad this year, secondary is bad and Campbell going for it on 4th down all the time has cost them games instead of taking the Field Goals. Goff is inconsistent as well.
    • Nah we just talking about giving a platform and normalizing predators (who both beat women) opinions and celebrating it if it fits your narrative.  If that's fun I'm fine being a miserable fug by not supporting P.O.S like that. N b4 you call me a libtard or some other dumb ish know I'm an Anarchist/Libertarian and believe both these dudes should get a complete ass whooping (at min) or something worse for what they have done to women in this world.
