As an older guy who has seen more than his share of time on the "playing field," and I ain't talking about a football field, if you get my drift, let me say that, far more often than not, when I've listened to my "body," instead of my mind, things haven't turned out so well. In other words, homer glasses are very similar to beer goggles.

I feel like LT is always pushing the bold prediction agenda, but I kind of like it. Always gives me some strong hope... and then later it's crushed.

I can see it happening but only if our defense is lights out and Cam magically goes back to his 2015 form. One can dream...

All my history of knowing the Panthers tells me this is a Pats blowout of epic proportions. Game might be over before halftime. But deep down I really hope all the obvious signs are wrong and the Panthers pull off a memorable upset

Not only that but this year is a scrap to get .500 year. Funny how no matter what coaches we have its always the same trend.

It’s because Richardson is intimidated by smart, driven football guys. He wants harmony in the front office and locker room over success. Case and point - Dave Gettleman. Gettleman ran the team like a business. He wasn’t overly friendly or polite. He was shrewd and made unpopular decisions in the best interest of the long term of the team. And he won. The panthers had the best run of success in their history under his watch. Now he’s gone and we’re back with good ol boy Hurney running the show, with brain dead Shula still calling plays. The Panthers are about to enter a very dark time that might not end until Richardson is long gone.

Ain't gonna happen but what to look for is more rhythm out of the offense and better play out of Cam. That's what you wanna see, I win is unlikely.  This is the 1st week the offense is in sort of a steady state with who they have.  I expect more cohesion and some of the rust to wear away from Cam....
