To all the Panthers fans at Gillette Stadium today

I have to say, that was a great showing of Panthers fans at the game in New England today! Everywhere I looked I saw someone repping Carolina black and blue. Patriots fans were even talking about it in my section. Side note, gotta mention that Pats fans are a classy bunch. Shook hands with some of them after the game and congratulated us on a great game and close win.

Well the reception you got probably depends on which jersey you wore...Panthers or Patriots?

He might have worn a Pats jersey that said Mr Shah. I should have snapped a pic. Guy was with a kid wearing a Panthers jersey that looked just like his kid from the pic he posted.

Agreed, we had a solid amount of Panthers fans there, from what I could see. Actually saw quite a bit of kids with Luke or Cam jerseys despite being with Patriots fan families. Good to have Cam and Luke for growing the fanbase nationwide.

For a fan base with five rings, they were incredibly classy

I was up in section 330 and a ton of people around me were clapping and cheering when Funch went down late causing us to use a TO. D-bags.

You went from Asheville to Texas to Boston?  When you going to settle down and get back to music?

Haha! I still live in Texas. My GF grew up on Cape Cod so she’s a big Pats fan and we planned a trip around the game. Her mom got us great tickets from a friend of hers.

I’m working on a new music video with my band right now that should be due out in the next month or so. I’ll be sure to post it in the Lounge when it’s done!

Yea I was surprised by the fans honestly. I had never been to that stadium and the people around me were just flat out legit and honest like me. Talk poo if it needs to be done, talk praise if it needs to be done....that simple.

Yes, I'd give them the classy nod, too. Out of roughly 66,000 Pats fans in attendance, exactly one came across as a whiny douche.

In my section, the only lack of class I saw/heard was from a Panthers fan. That play where Brady fell while handing off, this dude yelled out "I hope he broke his ankle." Ugh

In all fairness I yelled the same thing at my TV.

Brady hate is irrational, and makes you say things you otherwise wouldn't.

I don't really want him hurt but it's hard to express pure sports hate sometimes.  Not proud of it, not condoning.  Just sayin.

    • well i could go on & on but i will just highlight it by saying big difference trust me from the SEC & NFL.it's honestly like comparing apples & oranges especially when you are talking about a  LT. in the NFL you are going up against the most athletic freaks of nature the world has to offer . .the NFL also has much more exotic & complicated defensive schemes than what they are used to seeing at Georgis &  finally but most importantly you have to learn how to master complex bio mechanics where the body kick steps instantly as a reaction to these world class athletes rush without really making a conscious effort it's more of a learned muscle memory  & it can take thousands upon thousands of reps to master rproper technique for a LT in the NFL especially if you are still very raw like Monroe Freeling is    ...just saying
    • All that being the case or maybe being the case, we do not know Wharton’s timetable n the first place. They are being coy about it. Or maybe not. They say week to week the board says he is terminal lol and must be replaced. Who knows? It may or may not warrant a fairly drastic solution.  Walker is a bargain and we are not well stocked at OL despite recent investments. Freeling has yet to have a single padded practice. Too much speculation driving this plan IMO.
    • I would really love to know who’s actually making these moves because it’s weirdly vague who’s doing the hiring and firing.
