I'd love a monsoon game as a viewer but that probably wouldn't help us tonight, so hopefully drizzle.

What is the difference? Do we play better in a light rain, as opposed to a down pour? Do the Iggles play well in said down pour? I mean, that is quite the statement. Just wondering what you based it on?

Monsoon football is fun to watch is my guess.

It can be fun to watch. IMO, we are built to play like that. Hog Mollies on the line. Big bruising back, with CmC flitting around. Big WRs who can muddle down the field. Seems like we would play well in the rain.

We also have a down hill attacking Defense. I mean, dang. Rain? Monsoon? Bring it on mfers.

But @thomas96 stated that is would not be good for us. I just wondered what that was supposed to mean?

I think more wet conditions favor the run game rather than the passing game and amazingly this year right now our passing game is the strength and our run game weaker, while the Eagles have a strong run defense and weaker pass defense. Ultimately though it's a negligible impact for the most part but if the two teams really are as evenly matched as some think, then it could matter (I honestly think we're much better than them so that it won't matter but who knows).

    • It is strange, but no less surreal than him being the 1.1 in the NFL draft.  If I were in the situation the team is in, I would be Not want to aggravate that injury and would be overly cautious. He needs to be fully healthy so he can properly evaluated in these games that are coming up.  They see Dalton in practice, they saw the film from Sunday. Maybe he has looked good enough that they think a side benefit to the caution is getting to look at the offense with a different guy running it.    The worst thing that could come out of it is Bryce is hampered the rest of the season
    • I will admit, it is odd that even if he’s declared healthy, he wouldn’t start. To me, if he’s “the guy” if he’s healthy, he plays. I’m not saying this is a benching, just odd wording by Schefter. I would imagine the team is just playing it safe with him?
    • Honestly I don’t think we win, the home bubble is burst. Bad bounces, mistakes, penalties at bad times, drops, you know… the let downs take over and we see the bumbling team we have watched for so long re-emerge.  I don’t know if Dalton still has it but the OL probably doesn’t help him.  But I don’t think it would be any different if Bryce was playing. He is totally capable of fuging it up, in his usual ways.
