Here comes my pessimistic thread of the week. From the elation of Sunday to the miserable Thursday.  This is such a roller coaster.

I will bitch and moan and you all tell me why I am wrong.

It is hard to imagine that things will get better with this coaching staff.  I have lost faith in Ron and the coaching staff and don't think this team will make the playoffs.

it isn't about the talent of players, but the lack of heart and desire to be great.  Ron is so afraid of failure that he acts like a coward in big moments.

He tolerates lazy ass veterans like CJ who do nothing and doesn't instill any killer instinct on both sides of the ball. The offenseive line is soft and can't push anyone off the line of scrimmage.

If Kuechly is out, this defense will not be able to stop anyone.  TD may be the soul, but Kuechly is the brains of the defense and it will be 2016 all over again without him.

Biggest fix for this team is production from RB's.....If O-line can find their balls and start getting some push and we get and STAY healthy, Panthers could go far.......It's also going to take a coaching staff that, as Rivera put it, "puts his players in a position to succeed"......None of this is far fetched. It can happen.......Team has to come together and find it's heart and passion.

It's not that hard to see if you aren't a full on rainbow colored glasses homer. Pats was a good win, especially in their house, but their defense blew so many assignments. Not to mention we went into conservative mode and if not for Gilmore gifting us that 3rd and long penalty, we most likely lose. Detroit lions a good win, but we again went conservative and let the Lions waltz back into the game like it was nothing. If not for a clutch Cam completion on 3rd and long, we also most likely lose.

Point being, you are not wrong to feel pessimistic because majority of us know this coaching staff is absolute trash and is holding back this team with so much talent. It feels bad to know that EVERY game either Ron or Shula will go full retard and fug us over somehow. Yeah, 4-2 is good and all, but what is our goal this year? To just make the playoffs? I'm sorry, the way these coaching are already b*tching out, we are setting up for disappointment in the playoffs.

    • I dont think people realize how hard it is to find a consistent starting QB in the NFL. Byrce will not heart us to a SB but I do think he can manage to get us one or close..go all in on defense and change the Offensive passing game and play calls. I really think our biggest problem is our HC.  Take New Orleans QB for example, switch him and Bryce and I promise you it'll look similar or worse. New Orleans OC is levels ahead of Canales. And as far as the draft goes, in this division with as much rb talent as we face ..the answer...this guy:    Pick up a couple edge rushers in FA along with a corner and plug this guy in Rozeboom's spot. Defense solved. But only if we get a top tier rusher on that dline....jus saying
    • I think I'm going to the game in Los Angeles vs Paraguay, and the England / Croatia game here in Dallas since my mom is British.  For decent seats anywhere in the building(s) it looks like it will be upwards of $7k for the two games.  Insane. Just for perspective, you could buy field level EPL tickets for any one of the top sides in the league, and it would be 10% of the price you'll pay for crappy seats at the World Cup.
    • Meh… I knew this thread would turn into a Bryce/Tua comparison, when they couldn’t be further apart situations.   Dolphins catered there whole offense toward Tua, they brought in a coach that would run a Tua friendly offense, the went in got the best most explosive WR in the NFL and paired him the fastest WR in that years draft. Panthers have done the opposite, they went and got a Pete Carroll disciple who likes to run the ball under center, they drafted big slow WR who got little separation in college. Literally the polar opposite of Bryce’s scouting report coming out of Alabama.   Tua was a decent QB 2 years ago, but the concussions, lack of movement have caught up to him. He never had a great arm to begin with but now since he doesn’t want to get hit he’s taking the whole offense down with him.
