Both are pretty big pieces of news. If KB doesn't go, are we really going to roll with just Funchess/Shepard/Samuel active?

Am i the only one that would be somewhat okay with it if Benji had to rest a game? Not that he isnt stellar and making clutch catches, but Cam is completely missing Shepard play after play and the guy IS getting open. the Saints game stands out most to me. Shepard was open on key plays that would have made that game much more winnable and Cam completely ignored him in favor of dialing in on Funch and Benji.

Please dont flame or poo on me. i know Benji is great and our offense may suffer some without him. But im also confident in Cam's ability to spread it around when a playmaker cant go (2015 with Benji). Just throwing something out there for discussion purposes

Yeah I get what you're saying, but you don't sit your #1 receiver just to try to get better chemistry with your 3rd or 4th receiver.  Cam will watch film and see when and where he misses Shepard... don't need to sit KB to do that.

Aside from pressers, where we hardly ever get much of anything, with a skeptical eye, watch social media, etc. for FACTS on exactly what Luke did today. The helmet itself isn't dispositive. Non contact position drills would point to stage four. Anything involving contact with other players or dummies (unfortunately, in a few cases those mean the same thing), means stage five, and that the team physician thinks he's good for full practice. However, he has to show no symptoms afterwards, and then still has to be cleared by the independent neurological consultant. As is, definitely a good sign.

Look....Im just messing with you but you went from getting on people's cases for commenting without being a doctor to doing exactly the same thing each and every time Luke's situation is mentioned.

He didn't have a Concussion, Schefter exposed this Coaching Staff for sure.  They probably put him in the Protocol to be EXTRA cautious.

Exposed the coaching staff? I think being extra cautious with him was definitely the right decision

    • Wanting that type of play and being okay with paying $55 million a season for it are two entirely different things. If Bryce were to become the same player Purdy has been, then he would surpass my expectations of him and I'd be okay with him as our QB of the future (and again, I've long been one of the bigger anti Bryce people here who doesn't think he is capable of being our long term solution). But in no world would I be okay with paying him THAT kind of money, paying an average starter elite money is just a terrible decision.
    • I don't think they can overcome that mistake. Hell Lance was a hiccup compared to this. He isn't going to be able to carry that price tag and now he is going to have to do just that. Lol. The NFL is so dumb sometimes.
    • So, one could say that T-Mac is quicker than someone of his size should be and while he might not be quite as fast as Evans in the 40, he's more athletic than Evans. If only someone, anyone, could have seen that in his tape and mentioned that on here, hmmmmmmm In all seriousness, hearing he tested in the 89th percentile in that drill at his size is crazy impressive.  Just tried to look up the times of the top WRs in the league right now, most don't show at time for that, but I did see Chase ran his in 7 seconds flat. I honestly don't know how true this is, but I do remember seeing one breakdown of his tape and the person said he has quiet and efficient feet.  That he's really good at using the minimal steps possible to make his cuts and because of that, it actually makes him look slower to the human eye because you don't see all the quick chop steps that the guys like Tyreek would use in their running. I'm still in a state of disbelief that he's a Panther and it might not fully hit me until week 1 and I see him out there making plays for us, still feels like Goodell is going to just be like, "YOU GOT PUNKED!!!  hahaha, he's a Cowboy now, suck it"
