What a weird thing for Rivera to say

This franchise has never had a head coach who can drop some truth bombs, show fire and emotion, hold the players and coaches accountable, and sport a pair of testicles.  Capers, Seifert, Fox, Rivera - one owner.  We're fugged until...

i keep imagining the type of guy who could light a fire under this team and drain off the sludgy malaise on the sidelines and actually make coaching a contribution to a win coupled with an offensive coordinator worth a damn and seeing multiple super bowls

it's hard to imagine super bowls without those changes and it's harder to imagine those changes without an ownership change.

I think that guy is coaching the Vikings.

He probably wouldn't have lasted here. Lord knows he isn't afraid to hurt people's feelings.

Before Cam went into pout mode after the pick 6?

Yeah he sure looked pouty once again leading our team in rushing with an average of 6 yards a pop.

If we can actually run the ball without Newton having to carry the load, we win that game. We've been seeing this same story play out for years.

We have come to expect Cam to work miracles to save this team from an in over their heads coaching staff. When are you doofuses going to stop shouting about Cam, and actually demand a better coaching staff?

This team just isn’t good. Talent is there, coaching isn’t. Cam has carried this team and Shula as far as he can, but the ride appears over. I just dont see them contending until a major housecleaning takes place, and that doesn’t seem to be coming. Not JRs style, and so mediocrity reigns supreme in Charlotte. There will be no Superb Owl this year, or anytime soon, if ever.

RR doesn't get it....the play call on the option to Samuel should have never been called. Regardless if CS should have caught the pitch or not.

You are driving the ball down the field against a team with a terrible offense on the road with a Rookie QB while you have one of the NFL's top defenses. Yet, you run an option play to a rookie who hasn't been in sync with the offense all year. It was pretty obvious by how the play was run by the separation between Cam and CS that it wasn't well rehearsed.

Have a game plan, stick to it, protect the ball and win the game.

Did the coaching staff turn the ball over twice inside the opponents 26 yd line?

Godamn just stop. This team without Cam is a 4-12 team. It's about seeing the bigger picture. Cam has his faults, but there are far more serious issues with this franchise than Cam. Cam is the least of our problems.

    • He’s also 21 years old. I don’t know why fiz is so eager to label him a bust
    • It’s wild to me that so many of you guys are threatened by the idea of an opposing team fan who is polite in 2025. He’s been posting here on and off for years, usually when our teams play each other which hasn’t been for a while. I’d maybe understand this treatment if it was a falcons or saints fan, but packers fans in general are one of the nicer fan bases as long as you aren’t another NFC north team (especially the bears).
    • Some players excel on the big stage, while others freeze and succumb to the pressure. I’m not convinced Cam took a dive. I think he didn’t handle the stage very well. The pressure got to him and he folded. He wouldn’t be the first quarterback or player to struggle in a Super Bowl. Two HOF examples - John Elway and Jim Kelly. The 2002 MVP, Rich Gannon, threw 5 interceptions against the Bucs. Poor performances happen.  Unless of course you believe all these players threw the games they played in, but if that occurred, surely someone by now would have admitted taking a dive? 🤷‍♂️
