Ron Is Happy With What The Offense Is Doing

This just proves that he is a big part of the problem.....JR loves defensive minded coaches. Maybe in the Green Bay ice bowl 50 years ago this was acceptable....not in the 21st century. Sick of all of this B.S.....don't care anymore.

The problem is our talent won't stick around when free agency comes up. We are wasting Cam. He will most likely end up in NY throwing passes to OBJ.

That would be sick actually. Giants look like they are shaping up for a top 5 picking in the draft too, if they got Cam and draft oline and a decent RB, that team could be night and day.

Pardon the hyperbole, but it really does boil down to that our coaches are happy with the status quo and and in Ted Ginn fashion they will chase the money unless they think they can win here.

Almost all players chase the money...this fan stuff doesn't mean nearly as much to them as it does to us.

The teams control the players, not the other way around.

Time of Possession=38 minutes.  300 yards, 20 first downs, and 1 penalty.  Those are good numbers against a good defense on the road.  Without the turnovers we win easy.

But even with the good numbers you cited, we still should have scored more than 3 points. We lost to a team that only attempted 7 passes the entire game! Trubinsky's final stat line was 4-7/107 yards. He was sacked 4 times for 22 yards. that works out to a net passing total of 85 yards. The Bear rushing total for the game was 68 yards. They only ran 37 plays for the entire game. How can Rivera possibly be pleased with teams execution on offense?

Against a team that had 4 total first downs, all in the first half. Yes, you heard me- Chicago had no first downs in the second half.

Chicago had more sacks (5) than first downs (4), and beat this offense of the 300 yards, 20 first downs and 1 penalty you speak of.... but left out the turnovers.

And, by the way, the pitch to Samuel was not even close to good play execution. Way too much separation between Cam and Samuel.

It’s time to move on from the Rivera era. It’s old, it’s tired. It has run its course. Time to move on

it's really starting to look that way man. Thing is, a long as JR is content with the status quo nothing is going to change. I really don't want to see the guy get fired, but he (and JR) need to realize the philosophy isn't working in today's game and a change has to be made at the OC position.

Ran into this gem today too. Ron thinks asking a 2nd round pick that played on a National Championship team in college to catch a pitch is asking for too much. Lol loser
