regardless, man does this team play better as the underdogs

Every team does. Last month the nfl as a whole won at 68% when they were the dogs.

NFL lines aren't made to accurately predict scores; they're made to get people to bet.

People believe in pointless underdog mythos because humans are stupid, superstitious creatures that like to explain things to add meaning and structure to an otherwise pointless, chaotic life.

stop being stupid.

We just scored three points against the fuggin bears so yeah.

sometimes you have bad days...

we still have a strong D overall.  Hence why we are 4-3 despite playing horrible collectively.    Heck, we played horrible against the best team in the NFC and had 2 shots to win at the end.

to me, this is the Patriot game all over again.  No reason we can't put up more points on Tampa than they put up on us.

Carolina wins this week and improves to 5-3

    • I agree with OP notion, QBs always get credited for game winning drives even if they do minimal. Just last night Caleb got credited for a GE drive when they basically ran the ball the whole drive and only had to go 36 yards.   And there are drives where Bryce could of had a game winning drive if not for a Legette drop vs Philly or a Chubba fumble vs Tampa
    • You are actually, genuinely comparing Bryce to Jimmy fuging Pickles? Jimmy accounted for 3 touchdowns in his 10 starts in 2010. In Bryce’s 10 games post benching last year, he accounted for 20 touchdowns. Jimmy threw three touchdowns in 2010. Three. Bryce has thrown 10 touchdowns through 6 games. He is currently on track to throw for 3300 yards, 28 touchdowns and 14 interceptions. Wtf are we even talking about anymore. I mean seriously
    • Tepper? The guy that directs the coaches towards goals that he set for them… that guy. He is the one.    I don’t think he ever was going to be expelled from class, they had him come in for garbage time maybe the 2nd week he was benched.  I will say this. People said he wasn’t under pressure the last part of the year when he did better, but he was fighting for his career and that’s pressure. And he saved his career too. I don’t reject him for those kinds of things I reject him for the physical things. I have always brought it down to he has slim margin for error and has to be perfect. People with the tool set have a little fatter margin for error. Why make it harder on yourself? Got nothing to do with hating him.  I am no statistician but game that margin thing out a lot and see how that works.
