What Bills fans are saying about the trade

I would be so much happier if Hurney had pulled a 2nd rounder and we ship them a 7th, or a 3rd and 4th

3rd and 7th is basically what we would have gotten for letting him walk. oh yea and it would be in the draft after next (which hopefully doesn't involve Hurney at the helm)

As people were posting wild trade scenarios earlier, I was considering posting something about how teams don't just give away good players for stupid reasons.

Yeah...

who was the respected player we acquired in a trade?

Greg Olsen? Sometimes teams do give away good players for stupid reasons.

Like we just did?

well, the next couple years decide that in reality.  KBs knee is the only real question mark.  Getting that skill set of a player for a 3rd rounder would be a win for the Bills though.

The whole narrative over there is that they think you can just throw the ball up to KB and he will get it......is that what everybody outside of here really been thinking this whole time? Lol

I know right? For being so big at times he plays small. For all his drops and lazy routes he's still a 1000 yard 9 TD receiver. If he actually applied himself and played aggressively all the time, he could be Calvin Johnson esce. He hasn't shown any indication of being that good though.

Olsen was way better in his position than KB. Olsen top 5 tight end when we traded for him, KB? Not even top 15 imho but potential to be top 5. Minus lazy routes and a less than 50 percent chance of catching it in traffic. He could be great but he's no Antonio Brown or Dez. Or Mike Evans.

Olsen was not Greg Olsen back then.  Definitely wasn't a top 5 TE back when we acquired him.  Olsen was a talented dude who wasn't used properly.    How much of a steal it turned out to be wasn't as clear back then.  Olsen evolved too post Chicago.  Turned into an every down player.

I doubt this. I'm no comp pick guru, but the risk of him injuring himself next year would put this out of reach. Maybe a 4th if he starts for them.
