He's good, so is benjamin.  Point is the 'Twin Towers' idea of Gettlemans was stupid, Cam needed OL help and a speedy receiver to compliment the possession receiver.

Fair enough, but to be fair Gettleman said himself he traded up for Funchess because players on our board were flying off. With GMans love of OSU I have little doubt that Will Fuller would've been the pick.

Yeah right more like he's been trying to re-build the 2011 NY Giants

So this fan base whines and throws their hands up in the air when a player trashes the organization on their way out (DeAngelo).

But when a player gets traded and was nothing but a class act while here, the fans go ahead and trash him...

Seems reasonable...

I love how quick you changed that picture haha

1. Do you not remember How Many Posters were bashing Kelvin just a few months ago.

2. No one's even bashing him here? No one different than his previous detractors and of you're talking about them idk what you expected

Why is your Avatar the Jets logo

Devin Funchess was more impressive tonight than Kelvin Benjamin was his entire career.

So Funchess catches that ball at Seattle in between Sherman and their star safety(having a brain freeze over his name, best safety in football)?

funchess played awesome tonight, but until he has back to back 1000 yard seasons and is on his way to a 3rd with 20+ touchdowns you can't say that,..

Jesus the hate after a good team player goes.  With friends like these,...

I have no hate for Kelvin, but Funch has looked like a true #1 reciever the past 2 weeks and you cant take that away from him.  Really looks like KB has been holding Funchess back.

Playing the Dolphins did a lot to help the offense tonight.

Not tonight. Tonight, we showed that we can dominate a lesser opponent. We scored TDs on 5 consecutive possessions. That is very much something to hang your hat on.

Tonight, we showed the entire league that we are very much a team that deserves to be in the conversation.

    • Right and I think we can have a conversation about that. But even with the scheme he should still be able to muster more than 1.5 sacks right? I mean DJ Johnson played in Evero's scheme too but that didn't stop us from calling him a bust. Scourton didn't seem to have trouble flashing. There can be different things true at one time.
    • I assume you are quoting my still. If so, I don't know what your argument is since mine was simply showing a play where Bryce scored a TD against the Rams in the playoffs where another poster used a similar still of Herbert's line to defend his poor performance last night. Like I said, Herbert is a better QB but Bryce wins the game last night for the Chargers. It simply is something he does better than Herbert and would play to his strengths. Someone even said earlier Chargers only win 1 or 2 games this year if Bryce was their QB which is so absurdly laughable it wasn't even worth trying to address. I mean this thread is literally called "Bryce Young is the worst QB in Panther's History" so I understand there is no objective arguments to be had here but I found that amusing.
    • I think his knee would make a good reason to switch to guard IF he returns.  Half don't.  Half of those don't last too long.  The strain on a knee (320lb man) vs speed rushers is more substantial.  So I would keep him if I could on a small contract (he will make $17.5 in 2026 fully guaranteed) and think of him as a possible guard for the post Lewis/Hunt era.  Knee injuries in big men are not invitations to invest in them.
