I'll trade Ron Rivera to New Orleans for Sean Payton and to sweeten the bargain I'll throw in Mike Shula and Fozzy Whitaker.

F*ck that. Payton may give Cam Brees like numbers every week but our D would be way worse than it is with Rivera. 40 points allowed per game and perennial 7-9. Payton and Brees will be gone very soon and the Aints will be screwed.

Not necessarily. Kamara will be there for 10 years too. Words can't describe how dreadfully disappointed I was in our tackling today. I can't fathom how the supposed #2 run defence could be so shambolic. How many times now has Shaq Thompson lined someone up on the goaline and failed to stop them getting in the endzone. Kamara's good but our tackling made him look like some mythical being.

Did anyone TRULY feel we had a shot in this game AT N.O. with them coming off a loss??.....Just look at our body of work. Olsen out, Funchess only good receiver, average at best O-line,  a run game that hasn't proven anything all season, a defense while good, may be a bit over rated. Can't force turnovers, no consistent pass rush off the edge, not great at tackling, average secondary. Peppers, while good, clearly isn't the game disrupting force he once was. Haven't been able to shut down the better teams in league.

All Saints had to do today was double up on Funchess. They knew Olsen was out and we had no one else at receiver. And they sure don't respect our run game. Look at all the weapons and play makers the Saints have, offense and defense.....This is what a Super Bowl caliber team looks like. Oh, and I can't forget great coaching.....They're going to be tough to stop. Panthers just have too many missing pieces, point blank. I love them, but I just have to face that we're lucky if we're a wildcat playoff caliber team. We need PLAY MAKERS.!!!.

Assuming a RB will last 10 years is ridiculously stupid.

    • That makes me wonder, how many starting tackles in the NFL and/or elite tackles have short arms? I feel like there’s probably lots of tackles that end up being drafted in later rounds because they had short arms or didn’t have the physical tools.     also why not draft a tackle in the later rounds that we could move to guard or center if they fail, instead of drafting a center? If we draft a center we know they aren’t going to play tackle but if you draft a tackle they could end up playing any of the 3 positions, look at BC for example. It feels like it’s a better decision to draft a tackle in later rounds than a center.
    • Damn back to 10th. I only caught the last 5 minutes but some of those 3's were horrible lol. In that close of game you can't be launching those many hail mary's when you could be chipping away from the foul line. I guess no one wanted to get in the paint and didn't trust the refs to give them the calls maybe? Gonna watch the highlights to get a better idea of the flow of the game
    • I agree.  The Big 12 is a good conference, and he is the swinging dick in that conference.  If Bill Self retires, that sets Kansas back a bit, and Arizona moves even further ahead as the best team in that conference.  Arizona can crush west coast recruiting with USC / UCLA no longer being relevant for LA kids, and Gonzaga not being able to compete moneywise.   If Lloyd comes here, he will be second fiddle to Duke every single year in NIL and recruits.  Not to mention the entire SEC and Big East for kids who want to stay in those regions to play. This is why I keep saying go get Mark Few.  Has proven he can do more with less from an X / O perspective but can also recruit All American players and compete at a high level. He's a god at Gonzaga, but for $9M he'd make the move as that's 4x what he's making at Gonzaga, and makes him the highest paid coach in the country.
