They left him in to block alot because their pro bowl LT was injured and their backup was getting destroyed. Just sayin :D

sorry. give this one to the panthers. until i hear otherwise (how many times he was targeted) im saying we shut him down. damnit, give us something to brag about!

hollis thomas effect? he ate up a couple blockers making it easier for beason to cover the middle of the field better.

that's the major change i could see. i'm sure him having to do more in the way of blocking also played a part but having thomas in the front middle sure did help beason out.

Did ANY of their guys have a lot of catches?? They were terrible on offense sunday and are a terrible team all-around. We probably would have been 4-0 going into sunday if we had played their schedule.

Like we would have beaten the Giants at the Meadowlands in Week One

    • After last season, it was the same question. And the answer most people came to was "If he doesn't make the playoffs, he's gone." He made the playoffs. No matter how it was done, we made it to the playoffs. He's safe. He's going to have a chance to keep working this out, even if next season isn't a playoff one.  I think we'll do better next year than we did this season. There's something being built here.
    • The NBA is a very fickle league. Kon is one of the hottest rookies in years and beyond just his play on the court he is a very steady competitor and that translates to the rest of the team. That has been a glaring absence with the culture of this franchise through the bulk of the LaMelo Ball years that's just being completely blunt and realistic. The enigma of LaMelo Ball is he is entering year 6 and still either red hot or ice cold. We need him to find that sweet spot. Logic dictates the Hornets will want to see this core again next year. But the clock is beyond ticking at this point. It's put up or shut up. Especially considering what the Thunder managed to do recently. I'm hopeful they can keep these wins rolling in and get some much needed playoff experience under their belts which will help substantially.
    • I think as long as the Panthers are competitive with Canales they should keep him. Pepper needs to repair his/the teams image as a place prized free agents aren't hesitant to consider. Just dont do any crazy poo for a few years.
