Biggest problem on offense today...

Cam. It's not even close. Terrible throws 90% of the time and poor decision making as well. In a huge game to close out the season after a clunker last week. Yes McC and Shula haven't done well today, but Cam has been far worse than them. Quit kidding yourselves. Our crappy WRs have been running wide open today and Cam's been missing them. Cam has been horseshit in most games this season and the rest of the team has saved his ass to get to 11 wins. If Cam plays at all like he has this year in the playoffs we're going to get f*cking stomped.

Separation has been minimum but Clay actually got open a few times, the third down after Funchess big play Clay was wide open and probably could walked into the endzone.

Also I really need Shula to start making plays for other players besides CMac. Makes no sense he just has Funch doing the same things over and over.

Colin Cowherd had a really good segment on Charlotte fans.  Said the sensitivity towards criticism of Cam is based on extremely low "sports self-esteem" because Charlotte and NC in general has been a loser/mediocre professional sports city for 25 years now.  So Carolina fans cling to the one "bright spot" and get extremely asshurt when people point out negative things about him.

Cam was once a top 10 QB.  He peaked two years ago, and now he's not.  It happens.

We had a chance to seal the division today if Cam could've even played average. He blew it for us. Straight up. Defense allowed 13 points. Cam gave them 6 and left a lot more on the field with his terrible play.

    • And really, it should be 4 reasons with the last one being that there were ZERO other offensive weapons on that team in 2024, opposing defenses only had to worry about one player all year long and they constantly double and triple teamed him right off the snap all season.  In 2023, we still had Jacob Cowing who had 90 catches that year and was drafted by the 49ers last year, so teams couldn't just send everyone after T-Mac on every passing down.
    • I wonder if the Hornets view Kon and McNeeley more as forwards and plan to ship off Green/Okogie/Smith for center help. I hope they don’t plan to ship off Sexton as I like what he brings to the team. (2) G - Ball, Mann, Simpson (two-way) (3) G - Sexton, Dinwiddie, Connaughton (3) F - Miller, Knueppel, McNeeley, James (two-way) (3) F - Bridges, Williams, Salaun (3) C - Diabate, Kalkbrenner, Plumlee
    • 3 main reasons he was better in 2023 and none of them concern me for his NFL prospects 1. Totally new coaching staff that was a massive downgrade and had god awful play calling and designs, the entire fan base was ready to run the coaching staff out of town a month into their first season and the play caller ended up getting changed because it was so bad. 2. Along with the staff downgrade, his QB played significantly worse after being the Pac 12 Freshman of the Year in 2023.  Constantly missed T-Mac when he was wide open, lost out on a number of TDs and a good amount of yardage, half the time T-Mac still almost made miraculous catches on the bad passes too. 3. He hurt his ankle over the summer and missed all of fall camp only to return to practice a few days before the season started and I think he had to deal with it all season long and was slightly limping at times mid season too, but kept fighting through it to still be a 1st team All American.
