The Bengals have made the playoffs for 5 or 6 consecitive seasons, your point? I hope to GOD the new owner does NOT re sign Rivera until after his contract is up, I truly do not believe Rivera is a bad head coach that cant lead us to greatness.

Make him lead this team to back to back winning seasons first then MAYBE we can talk extension. Panthers will ALWAYS be the bridesmaid and never the bride while Rivera is in charge.

The alternative isn’t always better and I think Wilks has done a great job.

The real shoddy media in Charlotte is to blame for Shula. Our reporter's suck and ask softball questions, why don't we hear questions like "Ron, at what point do you start evaluating new OC candidates?" Or "Ron, do you ever wonder why no team ever calls to interview Mike Shula for a HC job? Even after a,15-1 season, a season in which the QB won MVP?"

Obviously Rob would give generic answers but that's not the point, the point is it put the ideas in the head that the secret is out and emperor Shula has no clothes!

I swear! Our media guys/girls should open up with “How have the Panthers organization done so well to hold on to Shula having to potentially lose two DCs?”

Agreed.

The NY media would've eaten Rivera and Shula alive.

As much as some of you want to get rid of Wilks.  Right now isn't the time.  He needs to be in the building working on a fugging game plan to beat New Orleans.

You want him gone.  Let's finish out the season and than we can go from there.

His gameplan has failed us twice and he really doesn't change his gameplan.

All Wilks have to do is hire the best OC out he can find and I believe he'll be a better HC than Ron. Yup I said it.

That's a dumb comment. Like Rivera or not he was a top DC. Wilks is not.

Ian Rapoport has gone on record as saying that he firmly believes Steve Wilks will be hired as a head coach this year.

It wouldn't surprise me. It also wouldn't surprise me if he doesn't last very long. With the regression of both our young CBs and a scheme that I'm not sure could hold up two seasons I'm just not a believer.

Regardless of how you feel about it.  You don't go to a fugging interview while your team is in the playoffs.  We lose this weekend.  Have at it.  Otherwise you keep your focus on your team's future, not your own.

It's basically happened twice and resulted in losses. Ron's too much of a pussy to stop them though.
