The DE pick is fine if there is a OT at 32 we can get it done as well. I doubt we ever go S in the first as the defense Rivera runs only requires average S play and we've seen what that looks like because we've never even come close to having a Polamalu, Reed, etc. So if it came to to BPA being a S or DE in the first we're taking DE(as it should be) but at 32 the options are more open to take the best remaining player.

Our secondary sucks and our pass rushers are ancient. DE is a HUGE need. We definitely don't need to draft two CBs in the first four rounds though. Wouldn't bother me to take a CB and a S in the first four. We gotta stop utterly neglecting the safety spots and trying to fill them with has beens and never was type guys.

It isn't when our DEs are so old.....and most of our pressure comes from the blitz...our 4 man rush hasn't been consistent at all.

The problem with DEs is it's rare to find one ready to start as a rookie. They usually need a year or two of seasoning.

DE is totally fine and I can easily see it. We won't be doing CB or S in the first but def can see it in the other rounds. We also have Elder who they may seem as just fine(who knows he didn't do poo) so we have young corners and what we think of them or not I don't see Rivera picking more early. 

We also need LT, WR, TE, C to replace Kalil eventually and so on. If and when Kalil retires we will have a black hole at C and wanna talk about being spoiled? the talent gap between him and whoever else at C is going to be monstrous. Hell I wanted Pocic and woulda taken him over Samuel easily....OFC Juju woulda been even better.....FFS/SMH

I did a Fanspeak draft that I like a lot better... best WR in the draft, a great DE, bolstering the OL, and getting Cam a new backup that doesn't make us change our gameplan when Cam goes out.

There are some choices at ot...maybe into 2nd rd...S is pretty much a must get

How fast is Sutton i'm not too familiar with him.

I also thought Cole was a Tackle.

I don't see Ejiofor lasting till the last pick in the 3rd as he's a top 10 DE prospect and those are usually gone by then, there were 13 taken last year before that pick. Would love to get him at that slot though.

Where do you see Tony Brown being any where near a 2nd round pick? Levi Wallace maybe but I'd take Quenton Meeks or Carlton Davis from Auburn a little later.

The Flowers pick in the 6th is great and would be a steal there IMO, he'd take time to develop but would obviously be doing that behind Cam. He could also be used like Joe Webb and contribute on STs and stuff if they wanted him to. Great call there.

With problems at LT and possible Kalil at center, we will need some help to keep Cam upright.  We also need help at WR and a possible RB to replace an aging Stewart.  I agree that a DE could be drafted, but i am hopeful Peppers can go another year and Hall who was drafted last year can step up.
