So were going to ignore the absolute poo fest the offense was last sunday ?

Offense has been inconsistent this year in general sometimes it resembled the team 2 years ago and then there was the infamous Bears game, that was probably a telling sign they weren't good enough what "elite" team only scores 3 points against a non playoff team?

That's been the case ever since the Super Bowl but you know muh Shula and the #1 Offense and all that jazz. Shula's gameplan has to be executed to perfection for the Panthers Offense to have any success, if there is one hiccup it throws the whole play out of whack.

The offense is inconsistent because we dont have consistent offenseive players, guys that are unguardable week in and out. The most consistent guy is cam or norwell on offense, hence why when he’s off the entire offense looks like ass. All across the offense there are inconsistencies

Guys like julio, gronk, ab, hopkins, odell draw so much attention it alliws others to shine, and this is still while make a significant impact on the game

Still that game against the Bears wasn't just the offensive players not being good enough, compared to Chicago they had the talent to not be held to just 1 FG, it was a near shutout. That was just a very poorly coached game.

I can agree with some of this, but kb let a ball plank off his chest and sameul fumbling a snap really doomed us, follow by matt kalil getting bitched slapped the rest of the game

It was a mix of lack of effort/bad coaching.

"there are offensive coordinators in this league designing more prolific offenses for Case Keenum, Joe Flacco, Alex Smith, Blake Bortles and Jared Goff. There were moments this season, and throughout Sunday's game where this loaded roster lacked any panache. Christian McCaffrey and Greg Olsen are stars. Two of their offensive linemen, Andrew Norwell and Daryl Williams, made the Pro Football Focus All-Pro roster. This should be a deadly combination. "

Receivers aren't getting open because of scheme.  I put this season and last season on Shula.

That might deserve its own thread.

I sat there watching the game wondering why in the hell we weren't running an up tempo offense. At the end of the 4th, up tempo offense and holy poo, we start scoring. Having to call a TO on the second play of the game because you can't get the call in? Come on. Even if Shula had the perfect schemes during a game, his inability to see something and adjust to it is non existent. We should have been playing faster tempo from the beginning. We hobble our thoroughbred and wonder why our offense struggles. Players have to execute without a doubt, and not everything can be blamed on Shula. But it's his job to adjust to what the defense throws at you, and he's just not capable of doing that.
