And Foles and the offense heavily underestimated and overlooked. This Eagles team went 13-3 for a reason, and won games with Foles for a reason.

I hated Foles back when Kelly was coach and I don't really like the Eagles because of their fans, but I could get behind this team making a run over other teams. Prefer Jags, Titans or Vikings winning but definitely rather the Eagles win it all if they could than the Pats or Aints or Steelers.

He even took them to the playoffs before and lead them to winning records a few times they were acting like he's never carried a team before or something.

drive that travels the length of the field and chews up half the quarter, ends in a field goal attempt, still a 1 possession game against an explosive offense.  aka the shula special.

Difference is the Panthers would've probably let the opponent get a touchdown midway in the 4th quarter and then Cam would have to bail the team out in the end, this Eagles defense is a lot better than the Panthers.

Exactly if the Panthers would've beaten the Saints it would've been in spite of coaching not because of it, would've caught up to them eventually.

Shula was bad and deserved to be fired but overall our coaching was not holding us back the most this year. Is was just that along with some bad luck (lack of takeaways all year and bounces going other team's way, even in Aints game), not the best roster (particularly lack of weapons for Cam and secondary), injuries early in year that affected some of our losses which could've had us at home in the playoffs, and yes coaching. All different reasons that add up to struggles. And the Aints are a damn solid team this year. Hard to beat them at all let alone in their dome in the playoffs, especially since we matchup poorly with them.

I still feel despite the loss we were solid contenders this year and had as good a shot at winning it all as anyone going into the playoffs. Vikings are a damn good team though and it's not easy to win there this year, that's all I was saying. If we got the Eagles in the 2nd round like the Falcons it would've been easier than the Vikes.

Serious question...

if roles were reversed, would you rather play ATL at home or Phila on the road?

I want ATL at home I think.

Well you ain't getting passed the Vikes in MN so it doesn't matter.
