 Falcons lose in the most painful way possible last year.  Saints lose in the most painful way possible this year.

Rewatched it from different angles; Crawley was actually in good position and headed in the right direction to at least give chase.

Now Williams and the Saints have the whole offseason to think about that play.

Like Fox007 said, there was still enough time for a FG.  Diggs was right at the sideline at the NO 35, and he caught the ball with 5 seconds left.  Most likely, the tackle would have taken him out of bounds and Minn. would have had a shot at a FG.  Not a sure thing by any means, but there is a better than average chance that NO would have still lost.

Williams took an absolutely horrible angle on it, though; then took out Crawley like a bowling pin.

What a total disaster.
