Person believes Gilbert could be the backup

I suppose I'm thinking we resign Anderson at the vet minimum, but we really need to figure out if Gilbert can be something other than a practice squad player.  I don't think you do that without giving them some meaningful snaps in preseason.  We know what Anderson is.

Regardless of whether or not you trust Joe Person when it comes to reporting, I trust Norv Turner when it comes to quarterbacks.

If Turner decides that Gilbert is up to the task, I'm on board.
