Giants informed CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie that he is being released, per @JordanRaanan and me. Giants will save $6.5 million by releasing him.

he's about to be 32 and was a second team all pro as recently as 2016

has he just fallen off a cliff or was it his contract was too much or was it a little of both?  i wasn't paying much of any attention to the giants last year.
