I wouldn’t mind Arden Key, but I don’t want us to get a hold of a Randy Gregory either.

Key’s got the talent. Just needs the motivation to stay on the right track.

Safety I want is Justin Reid though. Really like him.

Key is the exact type of player I want to avoid. Way too many wuestions about his work ethic and want to. Further complicated by him weighing in shy of 240 at the combine when most thought he was going to come in close to 270.

Ugh. Every redskins game I watched in the past couple years its this dude that was getting lit up.

Yeah that was my initial thought as well. Seemed like he was a penalty machine too.

Saldy enough, he is probably still an upgrade over Worley.

Smith, Breeland, and Moncrief would definitely set us up very well to go with BPA at #24. Hopefully that BPA would work out to be a safety, interior OL, or DE. I really wish this looked like a stronger 4-3 DE class.

Right now, a lot of our 2018/2019 outlook is hinging on the looming Peppers decision.

I would be happy with Hernandez for LG or Reid for FS at 24. Grab Josh Sweat or one of the top TEs in R2.

Sam Hubbard is probably the most likely option if we go DE at #24. I don't know what to think of him, but I think there will probably be better value available at safety. Then again, there could probably be pretty decent value at safety found in the 2nd where as the DE talent is very shallow. Honestly, if we want a quality DE we'll probably have to reach a bit at #24. Wish I knew what we thought about Ejiofor. I like him and I think he's being overlooked in this class. He's a guy I wouldnt be surprised to see go in the 2nd round sending all the pundits into a tailspin talking about their "big boards" and what a reach the pick is.

As long as he isn't traded though. He could have no say if that happens.

My point was I doubt they're getting rid of him this offseason after shipping off Fuller and letting Breeland walk. And even if someone traded for that contract, which is highly highly unlikely, Josh would still be out of it very soon.

    • Right and I think we can have a conversation about that. But even with the scheme he should still be able to muster more than 1.5 sacks right? I mean DJ Johnson played in Evero's scheme too but that didn't stop us from calling him a bust. Scourton didn't seem to have trouble flashing. There can be different things true at one time.
    • I assume you are quoting my still. If so, I don't know what your argument is since mine was simply showing a play where Bryce scored a TD against the Rams in the playoffs where another poster used a similar still of Herbert's line to defend his poor performance last night. Like I said, Herbert is a better QB but Bryce wins the game last night for the Chargers. It simply is something he does better than Herbert and would play to his strengths. Someone even said earlier Chargers only win 1 or 2 games this year if Bryce was their QB which is so absurdly laughable it wasn't even worth trying to address. I mean this thread is literally called "Bryce Young is the worst QB in Panther's History" so I understand there is no objective arguments to be had here but I found that amusing.
    • I think his knee would make a good reason to switch to guard IF he returns.  Half don't.  Half of those don't last too long.  The strain on a knee (320lb man) vs speed rushers is more substantial.  So I would keep him if I could on a small contract (he will make $17.5 in 2026 fully guaranteed) and think of him as a possible guard for the post Lewis/Hunt era.  Knee injuries in big men are not invitations to invest in them.
