There it is everyone! The typical overreaction a couple hours into free agency. Hahaha unreal.

Well doing the same thing every year will land you the same results. Its almost as if we dont even put forth any effort. Im not ok with mediocrity and you shouldnt be either, This is getting old.

Free Agency starts tomorrow. We have no idea what panthers have done or who they have talk to. We have the worst beat reporters. I am pointing out that right now it is a complete overreaction to claim we are doing nothing.

Ultimately, to be mad that the panthers haven't done anything in free agency, is like saying a movie is awful before seeing it or the trailers.

After FA is over then that would be the correct time claim we did it right or wrong.

Hurney is taking low risk, low reward moves that this franchise loves.

It’s that conservative mindset that has stagnated this franchise for years. Afraid to better themselves for fear of making themselves worse. No risks will be tolerated at all. You get a dwi or touch a ounce of weed and you will never be a panther. Meanwhile some of those guys nerver get into a bit of trouble in the pros and you let a pro bowler pass you buy 2-3 times(honey badger). The one time this team did gamble(cam was risky) it paid off nicely.

I understand the cap situation but as a fan it’s hard to see how this team can be better going into next season making no moves and getting peices of our foundation stripped away (star, norwell) and you looking at joe burger and “the Torrey Smith”.Make no mistake about it this sucks.

 Mentioned on PFT

Berger actually started here but didn't catch on. Built a decent career in Minnesota.

Of course they are since he fits one of the organizations criteria for brining in players:

1. Are you not a star player - check

2. Are you related to or friends with any of the core players - check

3. Are you from the Carolinas or played college in the Carolinas - no

4. Are you an ex-panther - check

hits 3 out of 4. He's a lock.

The St. Paul Pioneer Press reports free agent Joe Berger is expected to take "several weeks" before making a decision on retirement.

Berger is "probably done" but still hasn't ruled out returning for another season. He has a standing offer from the Vikings, but Minnesota is expected to move on. Berger has also been linked to Detroit.
