They have picks at 1 and 4 and I have heard that they will take 0 QB's, 1 QB, and even 2 QB's.

I think now that the Giants will probably take Chubb, the Browns will go QB and Barkley

Of course they are the Browns......

What say you?

I figure getting rid of JPP and getting a guy who can play 34 or 43 would be the ticket now, who knows

Maybe but I think that was more DG shedding a TERRIBLE contract to help them out in the future, I highly doubt he feels the need to instantly replace him. They have a hole there, yes, but they have even bigger holes. One thing we know is DG will go BPA. Very very possible he thinks that is Barkley. Browns may take him though and then there's Nelson. He's a complete beast at a HUGE need for them, and honestly will be every bit as good as Martin if not better. Well worth a top 5 pick. Possibility of QB depends on a few things. Does DG fall in love with a guy this year that he's sure can replace Manning in a year or two? If so that's the pick. And even if he doesn't fall head over heels for one, it's a great class and the question becomes do they think Eli has so little left that they need a replacement ASAP and that the best way that can happen is to take one 2nd, because in their view they likely won't have top 10 picks for a while, limiting their QB options down the road. I kinda think DG does grab a QB now, but even if not I see him ranking both Barkley and Nelson over Chubb. Maybe not but we'll see. Chubb is great and a sure top 10 pick in this draft but he's no Myles Garrett and I just don't really see DG having him as the 2nd best player in the draft particularly over Barkley, Nelson or a QB. We'll see how it turns out though.

Dorsey is by far the most qualified GM they've been able to hire since they came back into the league. Still may not matter since ultimately poor ownership trickles down and looms over the entire organization but Dorsey is definitely more likely to succeed than anyone else they've had in that FO.

      I think incompetence is a little strong. He was given a nightmare QB to work with and forced to start him right away.   He knew immediately that it wouldn’t work like that and tried to get Andy in and when that happened the difference was night and day as far as the look and feel of the offense.   He may be short on innovation and in that sense behind the curve of the modern day league but there is a lot stuff he knew about the QB position and the league in general. The fundamentals of the position don’t change as far as your footwork and form etc.  If Fitterer indeed assembled that staff and Bryce was forced on him with that the likes of Thomas Brown being his OC Frank was given an impossible situation.     Nothing against Brown other than he was a running back and not that experienced and the last type of pedigree that I would trust to develop a rookie QB.   I have no doubt people were telling Bryce different things.     Anyhow aside from all that I am  sort of interested to see how bad the NYJ offense gets abused this year with him running it.  I mean I do agree that the league has passed him by philosophically. Though it is swinging a little back to the old school.     Which we have had to do as well.  And the prescription for a weak inexperienced QB really was just about what Ceank ran.  Conservative, strong running game.   When we have tried to do otherwise with Bryce it is mostly miss not too much hit.  I mean cutting him loose to do a pass first attack has been a disaster when we can’t run the ball.

      I was checking out Chris Brazzell II measureables, and I thought they looked suspiciously familiar. Turns out it was true, almost identical measureables to former Panthers DJ Chark circa 2023. I even checked Terrace Marshall Jr results, and honestly isn't that far behind them.   I know this isn't unique for just our team, but we seem to specifically have an obsession with trying to make this tall lanky speedsters work for us. I admittedly wasn't that high on Brazzell, and when I watched the tape I didn't really see that 4.3 speed, and a strong wind seems to tackle him.   I really liked most of the draft, including getting Hecht in the 5th when I graded him as a #1 Center in this draft. I'm rooting for the guy to work out, especially since our HC and OC made their bones as Wide Receiver coaches. But Brazzell is the only one I'm kinda meh on. I was hoping we'd trade up to get Big Citrus, or if we went WR I liked Ted Hurst much better. We'll see though. 3rd rounders seem to be coin-flips for us (see DJ Johnson/Matt Corral).
