Who says he would've signed here even if we made him an offer? We could make a thread for dozens of players we didn't sign every year. Silly.

If I’m correct, Whitworth signed a bigger contract than our bust Kalil. We weren’t gonna get him.

And I agree above. I mean there are at least 4 good safeties right now that I know of that are still on the market.

Lattimore and M.Thomas from the Saints are the only NFC South players on the top 100 so far (#82 and #81)

Who do you guys predict will be on the list from the Panthers?

Cam:  pretty much has to be. Not a great passing season but he lead his team in rushing and posted the highest rushing total of his career.  My guess is #50 or so.

Luke : Had a down season but so did the entire defense, still had 3 picks and a fumble recovery defensive touchdown to go along with 70+ tackles and 50+ assists on tackles , with 1.5 sacks is still a very respectable season overall. He should be our highest ranked player like usual (with the exception of 2015 of course) . So my guess is #15

I dont think any of our other players will be on the top 100. Maybe Peppers because he got 11 sacks, and 2 forced fumbles at age 37 is rediculous. If hes on the list my guess is #72

Its odd that we went 11-5 by we might only have 2 players on the top 100 . CMC and Funchess were incredibly important to us team wise but I doubt they'll leave much of an impression league wide to be on the top 100. None of our secondary from last season deserve to be on the list, so I'd be okay with just Luke and Peppers from the D.

Luke, Cam, KK, and Peppers are sure things, not sure how you missed KK. Doubt anyone else has a chance but if anyone else it could be Williams or TD.

well, part of this poll is player popularity as much as youd want to think its purely a skill evaluation, its not. Thats why I dont think the likes of Short or Williams would be on there.

Forgot about TD though. He could def be on there somewhere.

I understand that, but KK was on the list after 2015 and was once again completely dominant last year and is well respected by his peers--he'll be on there. Williams like I said is unlikely but I wouldn't rule out an All-Pro player on a playoff team, they tend to get noticed.

    • In May of 2026, it looks like a challenging schedule...and it probably is.  I rarely listen to the "strength of schedule" conversations that light up social media this time of year. Each year teams improve and decline. I think there's chunks of the year we need to take care of business and the week 5 bye is not desired.  I do think if we don't hit the bye week at 3-1, it's going to be a major uphill battle given the schedule in front of us. This season falls on three people, regardless of schedule strength: Canales, Bryce, Evero.  Canales: Finally can truly coach all aspects of the team and not focus with gameday prep for OC duties anymore. He drives the bus and needs to get these guys in position to win each week. There's no way vets come in and put it on the line every week to watch our QB sh!t the bed (See: SF game last year). Bryce: Despite everyone's obsession with thinking Bryce is a guaranteed extension, I think this year will truly be his "prove it" year. If he comes out the way he has the past three years, I really don't see how vets and coaches can continue to put him under center long-term. He might play out that fifth year as the starter, but I think next offseason his long-term replacement is found. I also think there's no excuses with the weapons and commitment we've made on offense to insulate him with every possible weapon.  Evero: Best personnel he's had since he's been here...no excuses. Figure out how to blitz effectively. Figure out how to use CBs whose strengths are press/man. Figure out how to utilize a talented front-7 to get the hell of the field. Outside of FS and maybe....maybe ILB, there are few weaknesses on this unit.
    • Canales can never get his teams ready in the first week of the season so far. Hope that changes or Ben Johnson is going to take his azz to school.
