Where are all the CAP guys right now?

And with CJ passblocking and doing the hard running should calm all the CMac to little crowd

Because this is more about you being right  about  something than understanding nearly anyone who wanted CAP wanted him above a drafted RB or a RB we thought we could afford.  If you predicted CJ  Anderson and gave reasons CAP can't do the job, then congrats, but your grace suggests that you are obviously not used to being right.  If you didn't, well congrats on your ability to predict the past.

If you asked me,  "Would you rather have CJ Anderson or CAP?" I take CJ.  If you factor in salary cap, etc. it muddies the waters.

CJ is a solid performer and that is huge for our RB position. However if Payne is truly the real deal, then I don’t think CJ is that talented to overshadow him. In short, if Payne brings it I can still see him being the bell cow.

I see CJ as more of a closer.  To run the ball to close out wins.

Agreed.

Here's a concept we don't often see as fans of Panthers football.  There is no "starter" at the RB position.  Some weeks CJ may get 24 carries, some weeks 3.  I would love to see Norv game plan differently for each opponent.

Not something that we have seen in the past.

CJ Anderson is a great pickup. Expect CMC to be our primary back, but Anderson as the power option.

I think that the 2 of them will split the load pretty evenly, and that we'll see both in a lot. What I like about CJ is his hands. With Stew, defenses didn't have to worry about him (much) as a receiver. CJ and CMC both have the ability to catch the short pass and bail Cam out of a blitz. They still have to account for Cams running also.

so many possibilities...

You've got to think if we paid him 3-5 million it isn't to be just a complimentary piece in the backfield.  I would assume he will be either the primary ball carrier or will split carries pretty evenly with CMC.  CAP is gonna be basically in the same role as last year in this scenario.
