If that’s the case and they truly want Tepper THAT badly then they should pony up the difference between the two bids out of their own pockets and if I was Jerry that’s what I’d tell them. Now how badly do you really want Tepper? Bad enough to let his lowballing cost you a few million out of your own pocket?

Agreed. Navarro is basically a saint. He appears to be the perfect remedy for the current situation.  They won't vote against him regardless of whether a few owners want their pal to get the franchise. There are too many teams about to hit the market in coming years for owners to play stupid games when it comes to finding new investors.

Which is a funny twist in all this for JR. I think the whole debt collection controversy was a deliberate attempt by the league to stain Navarro and he's flipped it on them with all the charity and humble talk. If JR goes public with the support and the NFL shoots him down in favor of the out of state guy who's already an owner it's gonna be bad.

Makes a ton of sense as to why Panthers don't have a new owner yet. 

Navarro is form South Carolina, he's keeping the team in Charlotte, and he's the highest bidder. 

he should be the new owner by now !

Let me re-word what I said. He was a big fan of Jerry until the news broke of the real Jerry. Normal human beings change their opinions on people when they are proven to be terrible human beings.
