I remember a speech, not a press conference,  after that (2014?) when he talked about Greg Hardy and domestic abuse. Sticks in my mind because it was equally cringe worthy ..... he started crying almost uncontrollably.

Part of me feels like I'm still processing this.

Love him or hate him, Jerry Richardson has always been the Panthers owner. He will always be the guy that started the team. It's hard to picture someone else in charge.

That'll change, of course. Just seems odd at the moment.

Dude seems to be doing the right things right now. Play it by ear and see how the fan base is and adjust accordingly. Can’t hate on that.

Sounded like he won't enter the building until after the sale is finalized.  Was thinking he would atleast set his office up in the stadium and get his feet wet. He probably can't do much as far as personnel and changes.

It will take awhile for me.  Being a Spartanburg native I have known of JR long before most Panthers fans knew he existed.  Gonna be weird.
