  1. 1. What big move do you foresee/want?

    • Sign Greg Hardy
    • Force Igo to get rid of the Punpkin Spice Latte pie
    • Hire Bill Cower as HC
    • Re-hire Gettleman

My vote would be to get to know and evaluate everyone in the building and everything about the operation before doing anything.

That, or hire someone like Ron Wolf or Ernie Accorsi as a consultant or name someone like Omar Khan team president and give them full control of the operation for now.

Not splashy I know, but prudent.

Host the HC, and his staff for dinner. Get to know each other event. Also, his players.

You are a new owner, and you want to make a good impression on your team. After all, they are putting money in your pocket.

In this case it's the other way around.  Tepper already has the cheddar.   He has the luxury of not needing their approval in order to make money.  The players need his money so he can afford to tell them to take a hike if he so chooses.  They will have to kiss his ass so to speak.  So no, he doesn't need to impress them but it would behove him to at least let them think that he's seeking their approval for the sake of moral anyway.

...or taking money out of it.

Misread your post, you are correct.

    • Rotating in Chuba was beyond stupid and really hurt our offense overall. We’ve been in a good rhythm the last 6 quarters or so but Canales figured disrupting that with Chuba would be worth it Rico fits this offense so much better than Chuba    As far as grades go I know that ain’t our RB1, starting Center and our supposedly deep WR room and exciting talented young TE in dead last. Weird. I wonder if that has any correlation on QB play  Even that first incomplete ball Bryce threw in the end zone that hit Legette’s hands. Legette had no business being there so early. Legette went into scramble drill when that ball was intended for Coker who led up because of the traffic there
    • Yeah Jets have pretty much been in every game they've played and have barely lost to really good teams. They are much better than their record says Imo
    • I kinda just wanna see what the offense can do with a QB who has proven he can move the football in the NFL. If Dalton wasn't a shadow of his former self I'd be fine with him but Father Time has definitely caught up with him. If we start piling up the losses as the schedule gets tougher and the passing offense continues to be anemic that might cast Canales his job and it's worth a very low risk move IMO to at least give him a fighting chance. The thought of yet another Tepper rebuild just isn't at all exciting to me having already seen a few of them. I'm about giving this current guy a fighting chance.
