Former Seahawk says some players now question Carroll

lolz, Pete Carroll is one of the best coaches of his generation. Both college and NFL.

If that is the case then why did he make that dumb play to pass the ball instead of running it which would have one them a second trophy. That shows how good a HC he was when he failed to make a run play that could of been a win instead of an embarrassing loss on his part.

Usually I say when a guy pulls something off over and over again it’s not luck....the guy has been doing it dating back to his college days.

Didn’t understand that?

God some of you guys are the whiniest losers. Who cares what happened what’s done is done. I’d take Carroll in a heartbeat over any coach the Panther have ever had.

You must not understand the qualifier of "usually".

What about dumping activists like Bennet Sherman and beast mode ? IS that to straighten out the politics?

I’m all for the activism in the nfl and guys doing more to use their unique platform to bring awareness to issues, but the three guys you mentioned .....eh I don’t know if they were dumped because of their activism. Lynch is washed up, Bennett is ok, Sherman May never play at the same level again. We also don’t know what is going on in the locker room with the three guys.

That play in the Super Bowl, I mean the Seahawks haven’t really been the same since. They are still a good team competing for championships but that play changed the narrative and history of the Seahawks. It’s one of the most questionable, boneheaded playcalls I’ve ever seen in any sport in my life time. Pete the cheat tried to get cute, trying to be the smartest guy in the room and it cost them.

The reality is the Seahawks had a very talented defense with a lot of unique personalities and Russell Wilson had a run of being one of the luckiest SOB's ever.

Once Wilson's luck started to run out and some of those personalities started to clash the team imploded on itself.

I swear anyone that thinks Wilson is a top 5 QB has never watched the dude play, his best plays come from complete breakdowns and complete luck.

Wilson is one of the best QBs in the league. I would certainly put him in my top 10 easily. Their offense line is horrible and they haven’t had a sustained running game the past couple of years. The defense has been the meat and potatoes of their success but RW is absolutely an elite franchise QB.

Wilson makes plays but it's no secret that their Defense has carried that team for the bulk of Wilson's career. Doesn't make Wilson any less of a top tier guy but it is what it is. Wilson always comes off to his teammates as fake, he gives them free tickets from an airline that sponsors him...

But no doubt that SB decision put a divide on the roster the Carroll was never able to fix, then all the games where their defense would play lights out but the offense couldn't sustain drives to save their lives.

Agreed. This is a seahawk bashing thread. Not a lot of logic, whole lotta butthurt.
