Casserly: Expect quicker passes under Turner

Turner will add more quick passes to Panthers offense

Casserly suggests the Panthers should keep running Newton because it's effective, but questions whether his accuracy will be good enough when it comes to timing routes.

I'm cautiously optimistic about our offense this year. With the weapons Cam now has, and the change in play calling.. I feel like he no longer has any excuses on the offensive end. Newton, Olsen, CMC, Anderson, Funchess, Moore, Smith. Definitely the most impressive offensive line up we have had the past few seasons.

Well...Cam likes the long spectacular down field plays...it will be a challenge for him to dink and dunk...

Long passes or short, Turner has already gone on record as stating that he wants Cam making faster decisions and not holding onto the ball so long.

We can expect that'll be an emphasis in training camp.

I hope for the best and I love some of the things I am hearing from Norv Turner regarding Cam andaccuracy. However, I am a tad skeptical  that Cam's accuracy will greatly improve. I am hard pressed to think of QB that greatly improved his accuracy. Hopefully, Cam will be the exception to the rule.

It's not about removing excuses per se.  It's about removing obstacles this man has overcome. The front office put handicaps on Cam with the garbage they've surrounded him with for FAR too long. Now we're about to see the coronation of the best qb in the league.  (Kinda like when Rock Lee took the weights off to fight Gaara for my nerds)

If you really think Cam has issues with timing routes or rhythm passes then idk man
