Kris Jenkins out rest of the year

Such a waste of talent. I think it was when the Jets played the Dolphins last week, he just looked gassed constantly. He'd dominate on a down or two then disappear to the sidelines.

He's such a monster, if he'd kept himself in shape he'd have been a HoFer. As it is he's the fat man anchoring the 3-4 who's hard to shift and penetrates the line a play or two a game.

To be honest the NFL should start putting a weight restriction on NFL players in the nfl.Getting up near 400 pounds is risking their health and life. It's going to take a player having a heartattack on live tv on the field before the NFL will relize that these players are getting out of control with their weight just to play football. A heart of 400 pound guy can not take that kind of work load for long time before it decides to give out. I think the nfl needs to look at the players and decide what the max weight they should be at before they can play. 300pound for any player should be the limit. beyond that is a hugh health risky. Kris Jenkins weight is what caused him to tear his acl. This weight issue really needs to be looked into be the NFL before something really serious happens one day in a live game.

    • Aggressive runner, hits the hole fast, and runs angry.  Just a few yards shy of the single game record for the team.  Absolutely phenomenal performance.  If the gameplan hadn't become weirdly pass heavy for the 3rd and first half of the 4th quarters he might have been flirting with 300.
    • I felt that way before the season started, but I'm sorry, he's already proven he isn't that guy, I don't need to learn anything more about him. He threw the ball 30 times today and could only throw for 198 yards, which was his 2nd best yardage game this year, he's just not the guy. Which means this season has already moved onto the 2nd most important thing going into this season after evaluating Bryce, and that's developing our best young players. You don't do that by only throwing 8 of your 30 passes to your best player who is still only a rookie.  Pepper him with targets and help develop him so he's ready to take a huge leap next year when we get a real HC and QB to get him the ball.
    • Every win comes from a non-sustainable source.  As CRA mentioned, Penix absolutely imploding against ATL, and then today, defense finally clicked and looked the best they’ve looked in a long time (and still have up 24 points lol) and Rico ran for 200+ yards.  We’re not going to get that every week, especially against good teams, which neither Miami or ATL are.  Both MIA and ATL are bad teams and Bryce still couldn’t get it together.  The defense (and team) had to overcome 14 points because of his turnovers again.  That was not even an average QB performance.  We are winning in spite of him.
