If you have to make it a contractual agreement to keep a statue of yourself up, it probably had no business being put up in the first place/no longer deserves to be standing.

Maybe Tepper didn't give a crap about the statue and whether it goes or stays. Obviously means more to JR than anyone else. If it really offends you go through the South or East gate. I never see the statue and really don't care. He is gone. What else really matters.

This does tell us that a new stadium is coming. There is no way he signed off on that unless he was planning for a new stadium anyway.

I bet Jerry put the NFL logo at midfield in the contract also. I think he loved that more than the statue.
