Has a QB ever changed his mechanics with a noticeable positive impact? People are still asking Cam to work on his motion and footwork going into his 8th season and I can't seem to figure out why he should risk it?

The only one I can think of is Aaron Rodgers (him vs when he first came into the NFL is night and day) and he’s quite obviously a special case.

At this point mechanics are as much instinctual as anything . Very difficult to change.

Kerry Collins when he played for the Giants

Cam shouldnt change his mechanics. They work fine.

They sure worked fine for that shoulder of his. He’s only one season removed from an albeit mini but RCR nonetheless. Mechanics absolutely played a part in that.

Why have position coaches at all if everyone’s game is perfect coming out of college? Everyone can use a little help, even if it just minor finishing touches. The NFL isn’t about just raw talent anymore. Proper technique is also important,
