Question on Seymour

A friend asked me this, so I'll ask you guys.

Would you try Seymour at safety?

No. His issues were all technique and discipline driven, can’t imagine a position change improving that. 

I’d give him an opportunity to learn and show marked improvement, but if it’s not obvious he’s one of the first to go.

I think if Cockrell didn't go down with an injury I'd be open to it.

No I wouldn't because he got beat deep 3 times. He couldn't keep players in front of him. If he's the last line of defense, those are going for touchdowns.

I know Seymour didn’t look good, but our whole starting defense looked really tight and not ready for game time. The whole team did honestly. I think they all deserve another game with some more live action snaps before I’m really ready to dump him.

Not sure why, just felt like everyone looked nervous and timid out there to start.
