sweet jesus on a stick, i can't believe what i'm watching. we've seen strands of it for the past couple of weeks in spite of poor line play, but the difference turner has made has never been more clear than in this game.

play calls coming in with loads of time on the clock. cam's footwork looks good. guys getting schemed open. divergent route trees.

everything that was wrong with shula's offense appears to have reversed with the installation of turner's. i've never felt so good after a series of stalled drives.

shula was dog doo but he's been sprayed off the soles of our new balances and we look fresh as fug.

I agree that Cam is making better decisions and being more decisive and that makes the offense much better. But Cam is still too slow to the line as evidenced by the 2 timeouts in a row in the first quarter. Heinike was getting to the line with 15-20 seconds on the clock.

The play calling was mostly vanilla and the same stuff we have run for years. The speed of the receivers and ability to get open was key. But honestly the Oline was surprisingly good. It is amazing how effective execution can make an offense look and that is what the Turner's brought. Attention to detail, keeping Cam from falling into bad habits and getting the ball out are huge improvements. Norv and Scott have really worked with Cam.

And Ron Rivera was either (1) fine with that or (2) couldn't recognize that poo for FIVE FUGGING YEARS.

Six carries for 15 yds is good???  His two receptions must have been something, oh wait, they were only for 13 yds.

cam looked downfield most of the game because so much was open. CMC had a few key receptions and also threw a serious block.

not all contributions are reflected on the stat sheet.

One of those was caused by a late substitution.

I'm sorry, your point was?

Because if you're on the bubble you'd dam well better have something on the stat sheet. What CAP had tonite wasn't enough.

you contested that claim that he was good tonight. i'm saying in a preseason game a stat sheet doesn't tell the whole story.
