Torrey Smith fined the same amount as Kazee for standing up for Cam Newton

Thomas Davis hits Davante Adams and gets hit with an initial suspension of 2 games.

Kazee tries to decapitate Cam and gets the same fine as Torrey Smith.

And Goodell wonders why everyone hates him and he gets booed everywhere he goes.

Part of Thomas's two games was the fact that Adams got knocked out on National TV by a dirty hit.

And people wonder why dudes keep trying to take Cam out? 10k, even for a player on a rookie deal is relative pocket change.  And they fine both the offender and the guy that stood up to him?  That's why teams will keep doing it...  they don't fear comsequences, from our team or the league.  Kazee should've been suspended multiple games and fined, at the very least, upward of 75k.  If you care about player safety, then act like it.

Let that have been Brees, Rodgers, or Brady...  the mf'er would've been put on season-long suspension and headlines would read, "No place in the game for that..."

I'm not even mad at Rivera for saying that, it was stupid of Cam to try to waltz into the endzone against a division rival and known trash team like the Saints.

You don't have to be mad to understand that not sticking up for your QB right there was stupid.

When your wife/significant other asks you "Does this make me look fat?", you're that guy that always responds with an eager "YES!!!" aren't you?

Ask a stupid question, get a stupid answer.

Reminds me of the time a friend let one of his gfs drive his brand new mustang and she got it T-boned. Friend was doing everything he could to justify why it wasn't her fault, and his brother simply said, "Dude, she got t-boned, it's her fault no matter what, you were stupid for letting her drive it." And my friend was like "YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE ON MY SIDE". He's no longer my friend because I don't deal well with fake ass bullshit.

But yeah, what bothers me about that statement is he should have been upset with the league allowing players to get away with hits like that on Cam a long time ago.

    • This draft is 2023 all over again, it's not hard to see. QB's who don't grade out as high first round prospects while at the same time, the following draft class looks to be loaded with elite QB prospects. Drafting a QB just because you need one (or making a bad trade to make said draft pick), when there isn't one worthy of that draft pick, is how you ruin franchises, just look at us right now.
    • I upgraded to the S24+ a few weeks back. Very happy with it.
    • LOL... Yet again proving you can't look below anything than what you see on the surface Mock drafts ARE NOT draft grades They are what people think will happen.  They are mocking teams taking QB's in the top 5 of the draft because that's just historically how drafts go regardless of the grades on the QBs.  Almost every draft expert, even those mocking QB's going high, have said time and time again that none of these QB's actually grade out as those type of picks. This is again, where I say you don't like to actually read what I have to say, because I already explained it. 2022 the exact same thing happened, mock drafts had guys like Pickett and Willis going in the Top 5 because that's just what teams usually do, but GM's listened to their prospect grades and knew they weren't worth taking that high, so they didn't. It's not to say QB's won't go that high this year, but it's to say that they aren't graded out as elite QB prospects.   And yes, I've never said I'm not a T-Mac homer. But me being that doesn't change that he will be the highest graded offensive player in this year's draft, at a position we haven't been able to solve since we lost Smitty.  Taking him makes all the sense in the world, my bias aside.
